Business can be a brutal, cold-hearted world where leaders regularly have to make tough decisions that may go against promises or intentions. It’s not a pleasant situation to be in, but it happens. When it does, leaders risk eroding the trust of their teams, which is why it is critically important to continuously build and rebuild your authenticity and trust.
