A Few Favorite Management Books

January 7, 2014

Career, Leadership

I have been reading William Ury’s The Power of a Positive No and enjoying it a lot. I plan on writing a full review once I am finished reading it. I think it is one of those few books that will leave a last impression on me, which inspired me to put together this gallery of a few of my favourite management and leadership books.

About Liza Wood

After a dozen years leading video game development projects in a variety of roles, I decided to pursue a Master of Data Science at the University of British Columbia. Studying data science doesn’t mean I’m moving away from leading people. Growing data science teams need collaborative, pragmatic, Agile leadership to connect data to all areas of the business. I would like to share that point of view, along with my experiences, on this blog.

    Cool. Thanks for sharing.

I like the look of your blog, btw. I’m trying out different styles everyday, looking for The One. This is easy to navigate and good on the eye.

Thanks for the feedback! This is the second theme I’ve used on my blog and I still look at every new theme WordPress puts out. While I like the Fresh News theme, I’m not sure it’s The One.
